I took my first photography class in college at Oregon State, borrowing a camera from a friend for the term, just to fill an elective requirement. Like many photographers I was immediately captivated by the process and made photography my focus of study. After graduation, I worked both as a custom printer and photographer's assistant before setting out on my own in 1998. Today my wife Kelli and I work together in our Port Townsend Studio.

We offer a wide range of photographic services:

• Personal and unique wedding photography custom designed to fit your day. We photograph weddings regularly in Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Poulsbo, Sequim, and around the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. We are available for travel, and have photographed weddings in Seattle, on Whidbey Island, in Portland and Eugene Oregon, San Francisco, Portugal, and Mexico.

• Strong commercial images for businesses - both photographic and digital: We take pride in our creative and clear presentations of your product, place, or craft. Our commercial images have appeared in magazines and trade journals including Ornament Magazine, Sculpture Magazine, Fine Homebuilding, Timber Frame Homes, DesignFax, City Dog, Santé, and Artisan Northwest, as well as numerous brochures, web sites, catalogs, and advertisements. We can work in our Port Townsend studio or on location. Each project is unique and has its own demands. Please contact us for a specific estimate or to discuss ideas.

• Senior and family portraits that take advantage of our great location in Port Townsend, and show off your individual style. We often photograph in Chetzemoka Park, on the beach or in the bunkers at Fort Worden State Park, or in our downtown studio. Port Townsend is a popular place for family reunions, and we're up to the challenge of photographing your group, however large it may be.

• High quality copy services for artists: 4x5 transparencies, slides, digital photos, scans, web images and prints from your paintings, drawings, quilts, pastels, or other flat art.

• We also do a little bit of web design and desktop publishing and can add those services if needed to enhance your photography project.
